Yunioshi release a brand new track into your earholes! The track is a cover of the classic 1980′s Computer game Arkanoid. And we’re giving it to you for free!
Originally written by Martin Galway, this is a cover of the classic arcade games title music and is an homage to blips and beeps. Martin Galway scored some amazing music back in the day and is a kind of subconscious influence on the music we write. I spent a fair few hours on the C64 playing Wizzball and Arkanoid and somehow, these tunes have filtered through.
There are some great chip tunes out there, but I think Martin Galway writes the most interesting – go find him on Spotify and hear for yourself.
In the meantime, here’s our Yunioshi twist on the classic. You can download it for free if you like right here at our bandcamp page
Enjoy!

This is really cool! Do these guys do anymore covers like this?
Howdy! We dip in and out of tracks like these – always wanted to cover a computer game! There is an ace Martin Galway album on Spotify if you want to hear more of the original chip tunes?
Awesome! That sounds great. Awesome job once again. I’ll let you know what I think. Would you mind if I did a quick post on some of your music?
Howdy again. Please feel free too – and we hope you like our noises!
Thanks too by the way! Have you downloaded it from the bandcamp page?
